Affiliate Disclosure

Last updated: May 2026

What this means

Some links on FieldHealth Africa — particularly on the Picks page and in blog posts — are affiliate links. When you click one of these links and make a purchase, FieldHealth Africa earns a small commission from the merchant. This costs you nothing extra.

Our recommendation policy

We only recommend tools that Dr. Fomukong has personally used in an operational health setting or in building FieldHealth Africa. Affiliate relationships are never the reason a tool is recommended — they are set up after we have already decided a tool is worth recommending.

All affiliate links are identified with a disclosure line immediately below the recommendation card.

What we will never recommend

Non-negotiable ethical constraint

FieldHealth Africa will never carry affiliate relationships for: clinical decision-support software, drug suppliers, laboratory suppliers, diagnostic tools, or any product whose misuse could affect individual patient outcomes. Our affiliate programme covers only productivity tools, data and analysis software, and learning platforms.

Cloaked links

Affiliate links on this site go through fieldhealthafrica.org/recommends/[slug]. This is standard practice — it keeps URLs clean, allows us to update destination URLs without editing every page, and lets us understand which recommendations resonate. We do not sell or share this data.
